I just looked up the accuquilt go on "I have a notion"
You can get the accuquilt go vol.1 with 17 dies carrying case and mats for about 900.00 including shipping.

Guess what Santa is bringing me? I HOPE!

Only if you have enough money to buy the dies and like wasted material. I looked into this before I bought the Altos' cutting board which was a little more expensive, but does not need dies and makes an accurate cut with no waste.

I don't have the Go!...yet,but have been reading posts & reviews from owners. Also downloaded the chart from Accuquilt site...as to which machine the dies fit....one or both.Kelly, owner of "I Have A Notion" has one & can answer questions about most cutters. She is also a scrap booker & uses diff cutters personally.

Saw the Accuquilter in a LQS being used by the owner ,for a class she was teaching.Cutting is getting to be a chore....my back complains,so no longer able to cut most of the day. Thanks to all the posters sharing info.

I just finished a quilt with teddy bears, butterflies, and ducks on it, that I would never have made if I had to cut them all out. The baby GO uses all of the applique dies and a lot of the others. I have to agree that I would buy it through Kelly at I Have A Notion. She is wonderful and very helpful, plus she has it for the lowest price I've seen.

Just an FYI. If you place your fabric just outside the cut lines you waste very little fabric, as a matter of fact I don't toss out anymore fabric than I did when I rotary cut. Glad you like your cutting board.

I'm wanting the accuquilt Go, but can only use my right arm/hand...can any owners tell me if this can be used with one arm only? Can it be used without holding it still or without feeding the fabric with the other hand? Thanks so much!!!! It would be a joy to get accurate cuts!!!

I would have a tough time using my Go! without holding it down with one hand while I crank with the other. Sometimes also I need to push the die towards the roller with one hand while cranking with the other.

The Studio is heavy so it may not have these problems. Perhaps someone with a Studio can comment.

Caution though. It says not charged until shipped but it puts a hold on your bank account for the entire amount.

Just wondering I looked up the Altos cuttingboard it looks much harder to manipulate than the Accucut Go. Is it?

That's kind of a hard question to answer. I know some people put a form pad under the GO! cutter which keeps it from moving, but then again some times I like to hold onto the cutting mat with my other hand to hold the fabric in place as I'm turning the handle. I wonder if you could go to a fabric store and see if they have one you could try. Hope you find your answer.

What seller puts a hold on your bank account? Haven't seen that mentioned.
