Good guess, but no. "Suzy Q" is the name I have given to my sewing machine. It is a Brother SQ 9000. So I called her "Suzy Q"

Yes, open Bible and read daily.
To help protect the cover you may want to spray it with Scotch Guard to keep the dirt and stains from getting to it at fast. Plus you can take them off and wash them or like me....make more than one.
Just wanted to add to "open Bible and read dailly OR as often as needed"!

:D Thank you QuiltingGrannie for another tut. You should consider putting together online patterns with pictures. You explain so clearly with text and pictures. I will post pictures when I get my first one done.
I am considering the patterns on line avenue. A web site for them and all that. Still working out the details and specifics. Also wanting to start my own business, but that is another topic all by itself, that I have not started yet.

Thanks for the great tutorial. It makes a lovely Bible cover, and your directions are so clear and easy to follow. Can't wait to try it! I also like it that you can tell that your Bible gets some use! (I'm a pastor's wife, so am probably a little biased!)

It's November, and just found your tutorial, looking for how to make easy book covers I can use. I have several sizes of Bibles, so this is just perfect. Thank you for your tute!
