So sorry to hear nothing worked. Very frustrating. At least you can use the White and don't have to do something else like housework while the new machine is in the hospital.

I guess I'll get it to the repair shop Monday.,

    Thanks all

One more thought. Maybe you can call the shop where you bought the machine and see if they know the trick to put the machine back in operation. Might be something really simple.

Hope it is nothing serious.....my 12 yr old Viking Computer 500 did that and it turned out to be a fried mother-board. Oh well, I ended up purchasing a new machine, after my husband talked me into that option!

I hope it's nothing serious...maybe thread got loose and worked it's way into the main machinery. Take it to the pros. I went through all that stuff in June and my machine was fried, and i had to buy a new one. I hope that isn't the case with yours. I too have an old White machine...I just love it.
    Blessings,

check to make sure there is not a bur/nick in the bobbin holder. My singer stopped working and I thought it was jammed thread but repair shop said was bur/nick in bobbin holder caused by crooked needle.

Sometimes a timing issue will do that... had it happen on the Deco that I had ages ago. I checked around the web and found a place that talked about it and tried to fix it but ended up putting it in the shop. Hope that is all it is... it was a quick fix and gladly NOT and expensive one.
