The classified area is the main reason I signed up on the board...was looking for buidling my stash, maybe find an irresistable deal on a good sewing machine...Have been reading the topics for several weeks but joined only recently and love love love everything about this site. Wonderful folks and so very knowledgeable. I am learning so much. I wouldn't change a thing!!!

I use it all the time. I have bought sold and traded . I have gotten some great fabric on there for great prices. Its well worth it. I will probably wait awhile though and get more comfortable with the new board before I post anything .

Classifieds are closed until Saturday, Nov 5th (there's no way to get there, so you're not alone). I have heard info will be posted prior to the reopening.

I am a huge fan of the Classifieds. I sell on it as well as buy from it. I have gotten items that couldn't be found elsewhere for a song and a dance. I have sold things that other people were grateful to find and pay for. I would rather support and enable board members here than got elsewhere.

I've not been a position to peruse for fabric and such as our budget is tight. I find it an excellent resource when I am ISO, in search of, something like a tool or a specific fabric. I think it creates a great opportunity to buy good fabric a tad less than what standard LQS sell for.

I look at it daily. When I get a surplus of fabric or ufo's I have listed them for sale.

Things are too expensive in the For Sale area now. they made us lower our prices a lot for awhile but seem to have stopped. i find the same items online cheaper.

I like to 'window shop' in the classified but any 'bargains' become prohibitive when shipping to the UK is added!! Haven't noticed anyone in UK 'destashing'!!!!
