    I have the ruler and the cutting matt..that shows these on there, but I have not idea how to line it up with the fabric in order to cut the angle. Can someone plz help??

    Put your fabric on your mat, and lay the 45 degree line on the edge of your fabric, cut along the edge of the ruler. Try it on scrap fabric first to make sure you get the angle on the right side of the fabric you want to cut.

    Maybe this will help. Check from step 4 on to see how she uses a regular ruler to cut the 45 degree triangles.
