Hi TheQuiltDaddy! Nice to have you here... Wish I could get my husband hooked on quilting and then buying what I "needed" would be so much easier! Welcome to the board. You will love it here.

Post some of your pictures! We'd all love to see them.

Hi and welcome from Alaska. I love it that men are quilting more and more. But I don't want to have to compete with my hubby!

No, no, no....I'm more devious than that... Since he would be learning, you'd give him the jobs that you dislike the most...the ones that he NEEDS to learn the most. Get it? Make it worth your while to show him things that he needs to work on. Or, on the other hand, he may actually like cutting out while you like to baste (yuk)... I just thought it might be another way to feed our addictions...

Welcome and bring on the pictures. We would love to see your work.

My husband was sewing in my studio last night. I am wondering if he might get into quilting too. He does wood working and we both like collecting the vintage sewing machines but last night was the first time he sat down to just sew.

Is your daughter still into quilting too? One of my girls did a lot of quilting but for now has slowed down significantly. College and work is keeping her very busy.

Hmmm I don't know about competing but mine is competative too. what bugs me is that he always knows better and is always telling me what to do. Hmmmm...maybe I send him back to his wood shop. LOL
