She's gonna know how important her opinions are since Mom allowed her to take part in making her Doll Quilt. So many parents shush children away & that gives them the impression that they aren't wanted around, during certain activities. Both my Grandmothers allowed me to stand by their machines & watch them sew from the time I can remember. They also allowed me to ask questions, which is another important aspect of the learning process. Younger minds can see shapes & colors different than grown ups, so please listen to what they want to say.

I got the block done now just for the boarders and to quilt and bind it. she has helped with the whole project. well as much as her 2 1/2 y/o attention span could handle. she is really excited about it. all but the backing fabric was FQ's that she picked out and she like the backing and it was on sale so I got a yard of it for her.

She has a real eye for color at only two and a half. I can't wait to see what she picks out for other projects in the future. She definately has an eye for the arts.

I would never have guessed that those fabrics would coordinate, and compliment each other so magnificently.... the PP block is wonderful, love all the fabrics, especially the pretty fairy.

I love the colors she chose. It is amazing how they go together in the end.

She did great. My DGD picked out the colors she wanted when she was 3 and I refinished her bedroom furniture. She is very creative and is interested in sewing (she's now 13). We have worked on a few projects together.

I would not have thought pink and red would go so well together, but you have put them together very cleaverly. Good Job.
