    The quilt is a nice keepsake but so is the featherweigh. Glad you have them.

    Precious memories! I see why you will leave it up for your inspiration.
    Sometimes, my mom sends me a magazine or book she has finished reading and she will have made notes or underlined passages - - when I finally get around to reading whatever it was she sent, it is almost like sitting down and having a conversation with her .... your quilt will be like having your mom right there sewing with you. Cool! <wave>

    The quilt is fabulous and my favorite is batiks. You will love the featherweight, when all else fails I grab the featherweight, Sorry for your loss, I find my quilting is my therapy for dealing with the grief of loss. Good luck
