I've never heard of wizard feet but I think my walking foot is the best thing ever!

You bet, I have a walking foot but I just got a walking foot with feet, (advertised that way) that I actually see as big ridges. Anyway it is a whole new experiance in sewing and to think I found it on ebay! Donna Rae

DonnaRae, the wizard feet are more useful for garment construction and embellishments than for quilting. They have interchangable pieces that will guide ribbons, beads and elastic. You may be able to see them on the Sewing with Nancy site. I know she carries them in her catalog.

I have the Wizard and I love it. When I am machine quilting, it has a foot so that I can stitch in the ditch. Another attachment lets me adjust my needle position and get the 1/4 inch that I need for my piecework. It has a guide that I can run my material against and get the quarter inch seam. I hope that I have been able to help you understand the Wizard.

Thelma, do those feet fit the wizard that does the beading and ribbon work? Do we have to buy an additional set? Also, where can we see them online? Thanks. :-)

No they don't do the beads and ribbon. I had to get other feet for that.
You should be able to look into Clotilda's catalog and find the Wizard. If you do any paper piecing, the stitching the ditch will help keep on the line.
    Where ya from?
