i am looking for a double wedding ring quilt or a wedding ring quilt that has ruffles on the edges could some one help me please . thank you for your help

my sister is making the quilt and she is (i think) hand quilting while she is standing guardi it keeps her awake, she says she has a pattern but she would like to have one with ruffles on it . thank you for your help

I have never seen a double wedding ring with ruffles. I guess if you ruffled some fabric and then attatched it to the back, that would work. But it woulde not be the same length since the mellons on the DWR are not square.

thank you for your help i agree with you all the double wedding ring quilt i have seen there is no ruffle she will just have to add ruffles when binding it

When I made a double wedding ring with ruffles around the edges, I sewed the ruffles on the quilt top after I had made the quilt top. I have tried a couple of different ways but that one worked the best for me.
