Someone posted a link to making a half-square triangle by sewing all sides of your fabric square. I have searched and searched and can't find it. I would have sworn that I bookmarked it. Can anyone help me find it?

In this tutorial, methods 3 and 6 both leave your HSTs with bias edges....why would you want to do that? Bias is a problem going somewhere to happen for many quilters. I've been piecing/quilting for nearly 30 years and still avoid that whenever I can, with just a little effort of planning ahead for the straight/cross grain edges.

in this tute you end up with loads of HSTs on the straight of grain. it works very well. you can do it with any ruler. just follow the method.

    edit: sorry. here it is
