Did you read all the directions :?: Sometimes it takes some extra patience and reading all the directions again. When I got my new machines it took about a week until I liked them. Hang in there.

Granted I didn't read every message, but for the thread breaking do you have the needle in the right directions? Just a thought and probably someone has already mentioned this. Also make sure your bobbin is in right. Good luck.

    Hi,
Go to the area with the numbers on it. You will find a mark like this _ . Hit this to make a space.

Even after I got my machine over a year ago, I am still learning what it will do and what it will not do. Did you get it from a dealer? If so, surely they will help you with it.

I'd give it a try for a few days and if not happy after that - take it back before it is too late. It's not any fun at all using a machine you don't like.

I have the Brother PED720 and really like it. Easy to thread. use an underline as a space and clip it out after. I only wish I could make designs larger then 5X7. Other then that she has been a work horse.

If you just got it,then maybe you haven't gotten used to it. Try for a few for days and go through the owner's manual completely. You need a machine that you can use comfortably and easily. Try out the machine and make sure it can do everything it says it can. Then If you are not happy with it and do not want to keep it, take it back.A quilter has to have equipment they want to work with.

If returning it is an option, just do it! Now! Get a machine through a dealer. Dealers are generally very knowledgeable and back their product. Go in and tell them what you want the machine to do. Then let them show you your options. If I may suggest, try Babylock.
