Very Frustrated!!!

Sometimes you just have to get up and move away from your sewing machine. When I find something like that happening again and again....it's my clue to get up an do something else for awhile. If you got 2/3 of the way through, you must have been cranking....give yourself an hour....go back, change the needle, rethread the machine and take the bobbin out and put it back in...and then start again. I find that sometimes the machine and I just need a break!!

When the tread on my LA was that way I found it was a defective thread. I tested it by trying to break that thread and another thread that I knew was OK. I took it back to the store and they agreed ... it was just plain defective. They gave me a free replacement cone.

Thanks for the encouragement and suggestions. It did go smoother on Sunday. I was able to get it completely quilted. I think the water spritz helped because I am in the Texas Panhandle and it is extremely dry. I also used double batting which I will not do again. The quilt is warm and heavy. I should be able to get the binding on before Christmas. So, all is well now!
I'll post a picture when I am done.
