I have read all your messages and I pray that the coming year will bring all God's goodness and mercy to each and all. I get to thinking how tough I have it sometimes and then I read the board and I find out how really blessed that I have been and I feel so ashamed of myself. My New Years resolution is for me to have more concern and compassion for all my fellow friends, relatives and most of all my dh. I know I get a little short with him sometimes. He didn't ask to get cancer. But God is good. He is in remission now. I want to with each and everyone of you a Safe, Happy, Healthy, Prosperous New Year 2011.

Try to put all the troubles behind, count your blessings, I bet you can't and be for sure The good Lord always gives us more than we ask for and always something to look foward to.

After reading about all of you, I have to say it's been a better year than I anticipated. Our Christmas was special with our children and families around and all week we have had people coming and going. I hope for all of you a very Happy New Year with nothing but wonderful memories and no more pain.

Reading what many of us have been through this year makes me think I have not had it so bad. I turned 77 on th 7th of April....I said to myself 3- 7's sounds like a winner but it has not turned out that way. I have thyroid eye disease and there is no treatment just a lot of pain and discomfort. It usually last 2 to 3 yrs. so with every passing day I say "One day closer to healing." It can't drive, read or quilt so it has taken my pastimes. I know I will get through it but it has been very humbling. God grant me a better 2011.
