So was mine, wrapping paper, ribbons, tags, trash. One of my adult sons used my fabric scissors to cut wrapping paper.

Had to laugh...mine becomes everyone's favorite place to wrap gifts, and it is a mess too. Won't it feel great getting them re-organized!

Good luck getting it done by the 3rd. It took me 3 weeks to clean, sort and rearrange my sewing area, it is so nice I don't want to mess it up by starting a project. haha

I had a plan that no Christmas fabric would be put away on the high shelf until all my projects were finished. Since I can hear my Mothers voice telling me to have a clean house for the New Year I know dont stand a chance.I had best make yet another resolution for next year

My room looks worse, most of the time, don't have the excuses that some have said. I've made the mess and I'm the one to fix it. Sometimes I walk in, look around and then walk out with a project in hand and head to the living room. Trouble is, then that room starts looking congested. My DH is up for canonization for putting up with the clutter and not saying a word!! Any level surface gets covered in layers. I want to be neat, but it's hard!! It's on my list of to do's in the New Year. Not buying fabric and completing UFO's should help alot!!
