What stitch number # the blanket stitch do you use?? Do you adjust anything?

    Good morning,
I have a Janome 6260; the blanket stitching is wonderful. I use it often. It looks like it might be out of your price range, but if you found one for sale, might be worth it. I like to use it with varigated thread on some of my smaller pieces. Pumpkin12

    I use stitch #45....stitch length 2.7........stitch width 2.5.

If I want a heavier look.......I use #59.......stitch length 3.0.......stitch width 3.4. Hope this helps!

My Pfaff's all have the blanket stitch and sew beautifully.

My older Viking also had it but it is a my ministers' home being used there.

Thanks so much for the info...I will never remember all the stuff that machine does, I havent even been to the part about how to embroider....my pee brain cant absorb much anymore !!!
I was thinking about calling the store again and see if I could sit in on another class and not take the machine just be there to write things down step by step.

LOVE your avatar it's on my very long to do list his coming year !

My Brother has a couple blanket stitches and it automatically adjusts to either one. I just adjust the stitch length
