You most definitely do...especially because it is used for your "quilting business".

I would never confess it outloud to anyone...lol. If my house ever burned down or something terrible like that, I would just buy more fabric and less kitchen accessories!...since I don't cook much anymore these days.

Oh Gosh! That reminds me that we need to up date our renters policy. I didn't have all this stash when first got the insurance. I think I had 1 tub of fabric but I am far from that now. LOL!!!!

I suspect that would be an uncomfortable situation :)

I have no idea about fabric, never save the reciepts but I am sure I have $12,000 worth of sewing machine and equipment. Guess I better check with my ins. agent and see if they are covered.

LOL! My DH so knows what I spend on sewing! He doesn't say anything to me about how much I spend as long as I don't say anything about how much he spends on the harley! To make our situation funny is my mother who knows what my long arm etc cost as she was with me when I bought it is our insurance agent! She has no problem with how much my stuff is worth but has a hard time with how much money he has put into the harley and just like me having more then one sewing machine he has more then one harley. Guess we both have $$$ hobbies.

What a funny story! I think I would have sweetly said to my DH "My fabric? Oh, it's worth about the same as your gun collection" LOL!

True Story .... I was on an AOL quilting forum "way back when." One of the members and her family were moving back to the cold north from the warmer south (job related). Hubby told her that they just would NOT have room for "all that fabric and stuff." Sooooo .... she got some large 32 gallon plastic trash cans, marked on them "Kids boots and winter coats/clothes." Her fabric was moved back north with no question!!!
