    they are really cute - wonder if you could use the side seams as well -- they would be longer and possibly not need sewn together

    Thanks for posting this again. Believe it or not I am sitting here with the seams from flannel shirts doing just this. I remember your tut about the jeans and I thought why not use the flannel shirt seams? They are coming out great. Thank you for your idea.

    Craftybear, I found these last yuear and made some, What fun. The kids at our county fair thought they were great, too. So easy and durable.

    Crafty Bear, Here are the coasters with the flannel seams. One I rolled tighter but I think they turned out nicely. What do you think?

    Ann L - your flannel coasters look great.

    I have stacks of jeans for jean quilts, now I can use the side seams as well as the hems.
