It is interesting how many of us have yellow walls in our sewing rooms.

My sewing rooms walls? - yellow and I love it! Bright and sunny feeling!

Mine is white. With a small room, I would stick with a white/off white or eggshell.

    Just my opinion.

Mine was white & bright but it hurt my eyes, lol!!! Now it's a soft ivory. For me, I think that better or maybe a soft buttery yellow?

My local hardware store has what they call "oops" paints. These are paints people wanted but then decided for whatever reasons they didn't want them. I found a nice carmal-beige for only $5 a gallon. I had my primmer tinted to match. I am very happy with it. I have 3 windows in this room.

My sewing room is painted a soft, light pink. A cool pink. Very relaxing to me, and does not interfere with my color choices in my quilts. But I also have 4 big windows! :)

I painted mine a light sage to almost match my table. It is medium sage on the legs and bottom and on the top the shower wall tile that I have glued to it is a little lighter sage.So I went 1 step lighter on the walls and shelves with white mini-blinds.The trim is country white. That white is in between white and cream.I painted with semi-gloss so it would be easy to keep clean and would reflect light.

My sewing room is a very soft yellow called lemon parfait. The trim is soldier blue. The one window in the room has only a valence on it. The valence has a pale yellow background with soldier blue flowers. I love it. My sewing room is my happy place.
