Making the hexagon is also so easy. You trace around a large circle, I used a large platter, 14" around. Then when you got it traced (I used newspaper) fold exactly in half. Then fold again.and then fold again. You will have 1/4 the size you had. Then lay it on your cutting board, ruler across the wide end and cut it straight across. It was rounded and now it is staight across, open up and you have a hexagon, 14". You can do this with any size. I made my self several different patterns, starting at 10" and up. Hope this helps you.

OMG-have you been talk with Riversong? Your first mats remind me of her beautiful work-that is a compliment to both. Love the stove towel dress (whatever that is called) but they are almost too pretty to use.

Your other projects are so pretty.

Where did you find the tute for the last table topper?

It is on here, just go into search and it was where you make a strada of 4- 2 1/2" strips, sew together and then u cut them a certain way and then sew them together. Real easy. If u can't find it, let me know and I will look.

Hi busygranny, could you give me the pattern or where I can find it for the oven dresses. We have a church bazaar we will be making things to sell and help the fund at church. Thanks for doing it for me. Maria
