I've been to 46 of the 48. I haven't been to Maine or Vermont. My dream is to see the Eastern States in the fall. I think every state has a charm of their own!!

Have traveled many states - 20 if I counted correctly - but dh and I plan/hope to visit the ones we haven't seen yet. Fortunate enough to have lived in Germany and Saudi Arabia -both for two years each. Great experience and traveled many other countries from there. Have been blessed - so many cannot travel. Foreign or home, have loved every minute and every place I have been. For sure, travel abroad has made me appreciate how blessed we are in this country.

I have been to about 40 states, most while I was growing up. MY husband does not like to travel and I love to travel. We have had RV's and once we went to Colorado, once to Kentucky, and once to Florida. Colorado was the only place I had not been. In May I will be going to Europe for a month without him. He does not want to go. He did say he would like to go to Alaska, but as old as we are, I doubt that will happen.

I've been in every state except Alaska and my dream is to take the quilter's cruise there before I pass on. That would make things perfect for me!

Yes, I have either lived in or visited all the states in my own country as well as visiting and living in other countries (have been very fortunate in doing so).
When I was a young lass taking off to treck/visit the world for a year after you left school was "the thing everyone did" a couple of years after coming home I got married and thought I would be settling down, not so DH decided he wanted to return home so we relocated to New Zealand where he is from, 5 yrs after this he decided to have a midlife crisis and travel (he had never travelled other than to Australia) so we sold the house packed up the kids and off we went until I decided I'd had it and so one day I put 4 tickets home on the table and told DH the kids and I leave on xxx date you can come or stay we'll be waiting for you when you've had enough. Needless to say he came home with us and we have finally settled down to retirement. DH would love to be off again but I am staying firm in my resolve to stay put hence we named our property "Stay'n Put" :lol:

Our work has taken us all over the US, and out of the country as well. There are many places here I would like to revisit with more time to spend. With all the traveling for so long. I think it feels just fine to sit here at home and go nowhere for a while

I have beem to all of the lower 48 states many times amd I can say I have probably slept in every state at least once. My bucket list is to spend Christmans in Hawaii, and take a cruise to Alaska. I have traveled in both Canada and Mexico. I have lived in Ne, Oh Ia Wa Or Ka Co Ks Mo and Ark No I was not in the service Just love to travel and sometimes stay awhile

I would encourage people to travel if they are able. I travelled Australia before going overseas. It was the best for me.The only places I haven't seen much of is Africa and South America - but life is not over yet. You get a more global view of things when you travel and don't try to impose your culture on the area you are visiting.

I have been in all the 50 states plus Japan and several European countries thanks to the US Navy. We lived in London for 3 years and were able to travel some...with 3 little ones. Three times to Hawaii, the first in 1960 when there was nothing on Wakiki but the Royal Hawaiian Hotel and sand. Imagine what it was like in to go back in 84!
