Either turn those blocks into your made by label, or turn it into a signature quilt, that way it looks like it was done intentionally.

My mother had a friend that pieced and hand quilted many quilts for people. She pieced a log cabin quilt and accidently turned one of the blocks the wrong way. She didn't notice the mistake until the quilt was completed and it was displayed at the wedding of the daughter she made it for and then it really jumped out at her. I think we are so close to our own work that we don't see some of the mistakes we make until too late to change them. Your quilt is very beautiful and you have done nice work.

I don't think it is noticeable at all. Nobody looks at our quilts as closely as we do. In some far off generation, someone will look at it and say, "Hummm, I wonder why she decided to do it that way." So, you see, everyone who notices will think it was on purpose!!

It took several looks, (kind of like those compare the two pictures and find the difference) to find it. I'd probably go with the deep red binding.

oh - and any suggestions on color of binding?
I agree with a creme or tan. Also, it makes it unique to have the difference.....they will think you did it on purpose.

Remember in the early days of quilting in america, quilters always made an obvious "error" in a quilt...upside block etc. due to fact only God creates Perfection

I really had to look to find it. Why not name the quilt "Where's Wally"?

I love this, but I confess I'd be out shopping for a permanent marker in blue LOL
