This was a landmark day for me.
I received my FIRST grown up block! and Moonrise deserves the distinction of being the one who made it happen.
Wow what a feeling!I started to open the envelope, thinking it was another F8 (Though I wondered why the envelop was bigger) and felt "honored" to see MY fabric in there grown up with the beawtiful complimentary fabric Moonrise added. What a treat!
And it look like she 'fussy cut' a flower for the center block- beautiful

    I also received F8s from:

I'm not allergic to anything either so you really don't need to wash blocks before sending them back to me.

I sent 4 grown up blocks yesterday. I know it was moonrise, Ann therrian, and biblostone...Ack and one other person that I forget now. This is my first time doing this and I thought it would be easier to send my f8s with the grown up blocks....so if you haven't gotten a f8 from me yet its coming I promise

I was thinking of posting the same thing. No worries for me either, Buddies! Thankfully I, too, am allergy free! Starch is ok and please don't wash block before sending!

Ack I didn't realize that either
I think if we "rewash" blocks they should have a row of "stay stitching" around the edge or make sure the seams are backstitched....rewashing may cause them to pull out! This may be a question for our "fearless leader". April????
This is not to say you can not use starch but be careful of the heavily scented ones. We do have a few people who do have allergies so we just want to be curteous of that. Do not re-wash the blocks it could cause the seams to come undone unless they are stay stitched. There is no need to wash a block-please remember this is supposed to be FUN!!!!
