I take my sewing machine out to the picnic table and sew away. We live on a lake in the summer so I get to watch all the activity on the lake too.

I used to spend a lot of time outside, gardening and doing lawn work in warm weather.
My back has gotten so bad I don't do much of that anymore. We are planning a fair sized garden this year and have been building a large greenhouse. My DH will be doing all the intensive work for the first time. I will be doing a lot of canning.
I will be sewing about the same as I do now.I have several projects planned for this year. :D

I sew about the same amount of time in the summer, maybe a little less when I have to mow, but since I work full time, my time is limited all year.

I crochet outside on the porch when I'm not gardening. I sew smaller things in spring/summer and bigger/quilts when I am avoiding raking and shoveling!

homeschool mom here so I sew more int he summer! Don't have to teach the kids and I just move a machine in front of the back window, open it and they can play in the pool. I'm a few steps away if needed and the youngest wears a life jacket.

I do sew a little less in the summer time, mostly because we don't have air conditioning and it just gets too darn hot to mess with anything that involves and iron! ;)

So do I and mow all the lawn and edges of the fields. Between that and grandkids' ball games I'm outside.
Oh, plus it's light outside so much longer.

A lot less for me. When the sun comes out the convertible comes out and we take road trips almost every weekend. We really enjoy our weekend trips.

As I hand quilt, I tend to peice my quilts in the summer and quilt them in the colder days, when I need something warm on my lap.
