My son has just gone to bed and this is my sewing time. WooHOO! I went out and bought a metre of fabric and tonight I think my job will be to make bias binding - Blurgh! That is not my favourite part!!! I want nice edges so I am doing it the long way. Any quick tips?

Anyway, I want to feel inspired to finish this, so I laid out what I have done so far - and this is it!!!! It is on its side but I like it!!!! I cant wait to get the bias on - which brings me to another question? I am thinking about sewing on the Fabric A, and then hand sewing on the bias binding strips. I dont trust my stitching on curves, and it will show up - what do you think?

Thankyou but it isnt finished - I stayed with you for Part 2, 3, and 4 but I was dead tired after that - and I discovered my bias was poly cotton mix, I wanna use 100% cotton - so I went back to bed LOL I think it will take me the weekend to get it all together.

Vanessa, I love the way you have your fans layed out.
Patsy, your fabric is wonderful and your layout is great. Those little 1/2 squares are taking forever to square up! Heck, ironing is a major chore!
Scrap_lover09, I can hardly wait to see what your mom and you have come up with.

I didn't get up at 3a.m. but I was exhausted last night and went to bed early. Look what you all did while I was sleeping! Wow! I am really motivated to get busy today and make some progress. I am way far behind all of you.

Happy Day after the New Year! Happy Stitching!
