Than goodness my hubby has an expensive hobby---gardening. He just ordered a load of top soil at the price of about 300.00 and will probably buy a new tiller---heavens only know how much that will be. Of course he says it feeds us and that is why he needs to spend on his hobby---so I say it keeps us warm. Hehehe

I will be buying on sale and looking for bargains.

Long before they had duplicate checks and you used a check register to record where it went I put Jewel or Domicks (our area grocery stores) into the register whenever I bought craft supplies. The checkout girl asked me why I did that and I responded - "well, he knows he's eating. It explains where all the money is going."

Check out Bonnie Hunter on www.quiltville.com.
She doesn't buy much fabric as she goes to the thrift stores and buys 100 per cent cotton clothing, especially men's cotton shirts. She will tell you all about it. She also is a master at scrappy quilting. She has a "Scrap User's System" that she talks about. A great site, very informative.
Check it out!
