My husband and I are doing the snow bird thingy in Yuma Arizona and beleive or not I brought my sewing machine for the days we are not going out. I'm working on my first quilt (all by myself) and found it difficult to make the sash around each square. I'm doing a quilt as you go so that I could be finished before we make our way to Vancouver.

Here is my question, where can I find instruction on how to connect squares? Thank you so very much.

On the board do a search for "quilt as you go". Ditter did a great tutorial. You can also look under my profile & look at my bookmarks & you'll find it.
Just looked & its Ditter's string quilt but it is QAYG. I'm using her method to join some crazy quilt squares.

I would wait until you get all the blocks done, then do the sashing...
