We hear so many stories about shoppers not being aware of their surroundings. Happened to a neighbor as she was unloading a shopping cart - someone walked by and took her purse. Just remember that not everyone is as good a citizen as we are.

Thanks every one for the encouragement! I do have the receipt and the fabric hasn't shown up yet.. There was one camera but.. wouldn't you know it isn't working??? I believe she knew exactly what she was getting and the shop owner believes it too. I'm going to check out some online shops... thanks for the info Gabs. Hugs

Oh Mannnnnnn! That stinks! At least you didn't get hurt. A friend of mine had her purse stolen out of her hands from a moving car and got pulled to the ground trying to hold on.
Did you have a rotary blade in with your purchases? Maybe she will cut her fingers.

I do hope you were able to report it to the police.
I'm sure the chance of recovering it is slim, but maybe the are had cameras that can possibly be helpful.
I am so sorry this happened to you, but I'm glad all you lost was your fabric and that your are alright.
