    where did you get snowmobile fabric my sister belongs to a woman's group "women on snow" and goes on a week retreat every year-she missed this year due to knee replacements Id love to surprise her with a quilt project

    Thanks for your interest. I ordered the snowmobile fabric from Favorite Fabrics (she is a board member here) and they have a couple of co-ordinating prints as well. Here is a link to their site

    Hi Suzanne,
    Thanks for the compliment. The pattern was in a fairly recent issue of McCalls May/June 2010, I think. I found it on their site and used the free pillow pattern and made the blocks from that and simply drew the design and calculated block requirements from that.
