I'm looking for a free pattern for Cut&Fold quilting. Its something I've done with paper. Would like to see a pattern for using fabric. Thanks to everyone for any help. Nanna Shan

Can't find anything free but there is a book called CUT AND FOLD QUILTS by Carol Nartowicz. Hobby Lobby had it for $12.98 discontinued. You might be able to find it elsewhere.

Are you talking about Iris folding? You should be able to adapt their patterns to fabric very easily.

I'm not a paper crafter so I can't say that it's like Iris folding. With cut and fold, you bond 2 fabrics together, cut at key areas with a craft knife then put on top of another piece of fabric. You then stitch cut area open. That's my understanding of it. I've only seen the one book on this method and have a friend that playing with the blocks now. I'll get the low-down from her as to how it actually works.

Darcy Ashton has a free pattern for a paper cut quilt block on her website: www.ashtonpub.com

Go to "Books By Darcy Ashton" on the sidebar, and then to the book "Paper Cut Valentines" and there is a free pattern.
