I looks great. Good balance of lights, mediums, and darks.

It really doesn't matter if you repeat fabrics in a log cabin. It looks great.

I think you will have a very pretty quilt using just what you have. I have 64 blocks done for a scrappy log cabin and I used different lights in every position but I almost wish I had not used so many different lights. On the light side I think mine would have looked better if I had just stuck with 3 or 4 lights. Oh well, lesson learned. Are you using more fabrics on the dark side or will all the blocks be like the one you show here? I like the one you have here alot! Will be anxious to see your quilt finished.

Jan is right. I love the contrast. If you squint (like artists do) you can see the contrast without picking fabrics apart. I can't wait for you to post more pictures as you progress with this great project.

Make a few more blocks and lay them out or put them up on your design wall. You will know then if you like the WOW fabrics as your lights. I love your darks selection. If you feel the contrast is too much once you have about 4 blocks done, try makeing a block using soft creams to light tans mixed in with your WOW and see if you like that better.
