This one block can be used in any quilt block you like. There won't be any traditional quilt blocks already out there like you would find with an HST but you can use any of my designs or play with it and make your own designs.

You can find many of my original designs in my Wings Ebook
There are several Wings quilt blocks in the Sampler Quilt Along also.

    Hi Rhonda,
Here is a picture of the "Wing" block using the paper template. It was easy and fast. Thank you.

It turned out great. I have that dark purple fabric. It is one of my favorites I use alot. I would never have used that teal with it but I llke it! It works well in this one.

I really like the cross/star in the center and I wanted it to stand out.

How in the world did I ever miss this? Maybe just because I haven't been on here as much. I thought I had seen all your posts with all the pictures, but I didn't see any of the ones from 2009. When I get back from my sons, I have GOT TO GET BACK TO your blocks. I am having such withdrawals. And so glad people are posting their blocks. I love them ALL.

That was my thought, too. Thanks for sharing your tutorial.
