    Hi Quilters
A friend of mine has offered for sale to me her Featherweight Singer (it is a Centenial one) and she nor I know what I should pay for it. It is in good shape as far as she knows. It was given to her and she doesn't sew. Could someone out there give me an idea what would be a fair price?

    Hi,
What a wonderful opportunity for you. I paid $350.00 for mine and I have seen them go for as high as $500.00. So good luck and have a wonderful time with your Featherweight.

    Sue

Do a quick search on ebay, will give you an idea of What others sell for in your area. They pay more for them in big cities than they do in rural areas.:)

10 years ago I paid $125 for mine in Angeleton, Texas, but she was a used baby. Decals are faint, case is worn, but as my mechanic said, she's a fast sewer! I would guestimate anywhere from $250 to $500...maybe split the difference-$$350 to $375?
Or if she's a very dear friend and wants you to have it and money is not so much of an object, towards the lower end.

Is the case included??? They are pricy but I think 500.00 even for a Centennial is a bit high.

I think 250.00 is a good price if it is in working order and there is a case with some attachments.
