I was in heaven!!! Not only could I sit and look for as long as I wanted....she encouraged me to TOUCH - fondle, caress, cover myself in all that lovely quilted glory! (Goosebumps - Does it get any better??!!)
The piecing and hand stitching was amazing - and there were many patterns that I could not identify. I would love to reproduce one....but for me, would be easier if I had a pattern to follow.
Anyone recognize this pattern?

I actually found the pattern. You can go to www.Fabricshack.com
Once you are there go to search and put in Mountain Star. You can buy the pattern for $3.50. They are dealer of the original Mountain Mist patterns I guess.
Happy hunting.

Here's the link to this specific pattern:

I called to ask why they didn't have pictures of most of the other patterns, so maybe they'll get around to scanning them in. Maybe not. I mean, really, who is going to buy a pattern without a picture!
And it seems the quilt that SDQ saw was made in the exact same colors used in the published pattern (1932)

I ordered the pattern over the weekend. I think we all figured out (well, those that bothered to read this whole thread) that it was all appliqued. I'm really psyched about somehow updating the pattern with more contemporary techniques.
