    Thanks for your comment. The pattern sample didn't look like this. I wasn't trying to be realistic, but rather representational. I started to observe nature and saw some variegated tulips. I thought a striped fabric would represent that. And since yellow and purple are Easter colors in my mind, I used that as my inspiration. I plan to give it as a Easter thank you gift.

    Stunning! I've always rather have snow than storms, and after hearing about all the severe weather to the south I will take more snow. (I do enjoy getting out in the warm sunshine though.) You did an awesome job!

    Oh my, your little quilt is so very pretty, love your fabric choices and your fm lettering is well done! The sprinkle of beads is the perfect finishing touch.

    Living in Oregon this has been a very long wet spring and most of us are really getting tired. We had one sunny day and it inspired me to make this using rather non traditional fabrics from my scraps and added some free-motion embroidery. Then the rain started again so I added and a little bead work sparkle for the rain.
