I didn't know about the cider vinegar in water, that is an easy thing to do. I also had heard garlic keeps fleas away, but didn't know that it helped with worms too!
Thanks for the tips.

When our big fur kids were still with us, I would simply put a whole garlic clove inside a piece of hamburger and toss one to each dog. They would gulp it down right away!! Very rarely saw one scratching. And they lived most of the time inside with us.

Anybody have a good recipe to repel the cats from digging in my garden / flower beds? Not only they use them as litter box but they come out if it pretty dirty.
-------------------
Around here we have 3 big toms who come up on my porch to pee on my screen door, which is where Koko lies in the sun on warm days. So I got a big container of hot pepper and spread it around on the porch in front of the screen. No more cats.
To prevent my dogs from digging up plants, we used to dig a little hole and dump in cayenne pepper, and then put a thin layer of dirt over it. That usually did the job.
