    There were a few firsts for me with this one, including my first FMQ (just a meander with some highlighting around the circles/flowers in the bottom corner), and my first raw edge applique.

    This was not a good first time combination. I finally had to sneak up on it and quilt it from the back to avoid catching edges (and freaking myself out). This lead to other, more predictable problems but by and large I'm happy with the result.

    The pattern is Thimble Blossoms Sweet Cheeks.

    Sorry for the fuzzy pics, I only had my cell phone and I HAD to get it in Fed Ex this morning.

    i think it's great-i have done fmq on at least 5 quilts and i am still not happy with my results-i guess we always want perfection. i love your color choice
