My sweet husband and I used the ideas in this video to improve my sewing comfort at my machine. I love it!

I found her site right before I was going to have a plexiglass extention table made for my machine. This was a lot cheaper, and I can make my table as large as I like. The clear vinyl is smooth and now I can actually machine quilt!

Did that a couple of years ago. Great move! I have space to the right, where I keep "stuff". The only draw back - I didn't make a large enough access port to reach the power switch on the machine. I guess it isn't major enough, I haven't carved out a larger hole, just stick my fingers into the pit. If I made the hole any larger, it would probably suck in my "stuff" like a black hole.

And... I'm THOROUGHLY ENJOYING my fantastic new table! It's just the right height now, and level with my sewing machine so I don't have my fabrics falling off the edge as I sew.

Margarita McManus created this video for making the sewingtable. I'm so pleased with mine, and thanks to Margarita for the videos!
