    When I could not get tea-dyed muslin in 108" with, I bought unbleached (because I like the tiny brown pin dots and imperfections) and tea-dyed it. It was a lot of work, due to the size of the piece of fabric, but turned out just as I wanted. Bleached muslin would probably dye very well.

    yes, and as I hand quilt I do not want something as closely woven and stout as expensive bed sheets. I have always bought my 120 inch wide muslin at Wal mart but now that they no longer cater to customers I will buy my muslin at my fave shop.

    I use it all the time. Don't use the really thin kind.
