    Actually, the big one isn't quilted yet, it's just a top but I plan to just lop off half of the hexagons around the border and layer, quilt and bind it. I do have one though that I am just laying it on the borders and appliquing it down.

    I use freezer paper for the base of the hexagons and it is all hand pieced. I just went through my scrap bins and used whatever I had and believe me I still have lots of stash left. Those little 2" squares that I used didn't use up much of the fabric I had.

    Thanks everybody for commenting and I do this in the evening while watching TV.

    I love this! This is what I'm doing now. I'm making hexagons from all the quilt scraps I've saved up from previous quilts. So far I've made 340...only about 2,000 more to go!
