Are you going to plant a garden this year?

I sure hope soon. There are broccoli plants setting in the garage along with seeds for beans, corn, spinach, lettuce and a bag of onion sets. It is already late, but it has been too wet. I hope to also put out pumpkins seeds to hopefully grow a few big ones for fun. I almost forgot several types of tomatoes. I would not be a Indiana gardener with out tomatoes.

I've planted 9 tomato plants, 3 cucumbers, 3 green peppers, two straight neck squash and 1 zuchinni. We also have about 24 strawberry plants carried over from last year. Also some carrots and green onions still in the ground from last summer. Love it!!!

Ours is now planted, thanks to my daughter and the greenhouse at the high school. No thanks to the Idaho spring.
Corn, tomatoes, cucumbers, radishes, broccoli, cabbage, bell peppers, hot peppers, red potatoes, russet potatoes, kohlrabi, carrots, spinach, arugula, zucchini, cantaloupe, watermelon, kale, rosemary, basil, Italian parsley, and pumpkins.

I will plant tomatoes in containers on the deck. We quit planting a garden two years ago after the deer ate everything. We only got one picking of green beans and the deer got the rest. Last year they came up and ate one of my hanging plants that was hanging on the edge of the deck.

Had a BLT this evening--yum, yum, yum! Have had and given away several tomatoes; lettuce and tomatoes are in plastic tubs on flagstone patio. From a huge garden to a "postage stamp" size to a "pinhead." As housing has downsized, garden plots have also. LOL!

I don't plant, but my dh loves gardening. He just put in tomatoes, bell pepper plant, & squash. He has green beens & cantaloupe in pots. The weather was great this week, but cooling off again. We love the harvest, but wish it wouldn't all come at once.
