Congratulations to him. I don't have any sons, but had been involved with the scouting program several years ago and know what an accomplishment this is. I know it took him many (many-many) hours. Kudo's to him. Aside from the personal satisfaction he is surely feeling, I'm told that it looks very good on job applications.

Congratulations!! Eagle scout is an honor!! I have one son who is an Eagle scout and the second son is planning his ceremony for Eagle. It opens a lot of doors for them in the job world later on. Well done, mom!

Congratulations! As the proud mom of an Eagle Scout, I know how much work goes into it. What was his project? Mine did a food drive. Unfortunately the troop was at camp that week so he had a couple of friends from high school help out. He collected over ONE TON of food for our church's pantry.

His service project was a fix up of one of the city parks. He re-did 2 benches, cleared brush and refreshed the mulch around the playground equipment. He recruited a few of the younger guys in the troop to help.
He also went to Philmount and would love to go back.

How wonderful! My son also went to Philmont. He was a guide on the St. George Trek for three weeks when he was a seminarian. He loved it.
