    Wow I am inspired since I picked up 2 shoeboxes of 1 inch wide fabric for 10cents at a sale yesterday. I am going to try this. Thanks I like the crooked looking one.

    This method is addictive......just start with a smaller piece any shape really, and start adding pieces (like log cabin) until you have a piece big enough to cut a block from. I'll try to attach a picture of one I did as a baby quilt.....hopefully will show the pieces.
