:D Happy Thanksgiving and be safe all! My name is Melody from Punta Gorda, Florida. I'm 42 and I am a year young to sewing of any kind. Last year I made my first quilt, my first pillow, and I shocked myself and made a camo seat cover for the wide back seat of my husband's jeep.

My obsessive passions right now include collecting fabrics and patterns for quilting projects. I am obsessed with this notion that my next project absolutely has to be an album quilt. I've been searching the web left and right for free patterns and now have about 3 CDs worth of free downloaded patterns for blocks, applique patterns, quilting motifs and also redwork patterns. I've almost totally exhausted my libraries stack of books to do with these things. I recently found out that our libraries can loan books from libraries in other counties and states. Cool uh? Soon I'll be having a book from 75 miles away delivered to my library for my viewing pleasure. I am almost drooling at the thought, lol. If anyone has links to hard to find download sites not listed on google.com or ask.com please drop me a line.
