Here's a spot for more on the potato bag and instuctions on how to use it. I also saw them on the for selling price of $8.00. I would think it's what you put into it and the economy in your area. Great gifts!

I just bought one this weekend at the Genesee Vally Quilt Club Quilt Show in Rochester, NY. I only paid $6 for it. Couldn't beat that price....so I had to buy it instead of making it myself. It was a hugh show...lots of beautiful quilts, some garments, art work pieces and even some purses. And soooo many vendors. I could have spent the entire 3 days there. I forgot to take my camera with me. Sorry no photos to show you.

I have bought several potato bags for $6 each. Some woman at the hairdresser's sells them. We use ours for warming up frozen egg rolls also...

I've just learned something new! I'd never heard of a potato bag before but sounds like I'll have to try one, and they sound like easy gifts to make too!

Thanks for the question and all the answers. I've wondered too how much these would sell for to see if they would worth investing in for craft shows. Sounds like they would!

I think bamboo batting might have some poly in it.
Not absolutely sure, but I believe I read that somewhere, same goes for the bamboo fabric.

I have dozens of them, they do not take long to make & the taste of the potato is um good. "Wash the potato blot & wrap a papertowel around, microwave as usual.

some people use flannel on the inside and don't use quilt batting.
$10.00 is a fair price to charge, $8.00 if you use flannel and not batting.
