    Good luck on the Bargello - it's really not hard. I hope you search all the info and tutorials out there on
    Bargellos and decide. Sometimes choosing colors is
    the hard thing. It's always good to see many examples of the basic pattern. For such a large quilt perhaps use wider strips. Here's a website I like: http://www.hgtv.com/crafting/bargello-quilt/index.html

    Thank you all for the warm welcome.I have done my research and bought some books on the making of a Bargello quilt. Still wondering what is the best way to go about the material. Should I just buy the colors by the yard or should I buy the Jelly rolls? For this size of a quilt how many different colors would you recommend?
