Anyone care to give me some ideas for pricing sewing machine covers? They take from 1 to 2-1/2 hours to make.
There will be some that are not pieced; some that will be pieced, but not quilted, and some will be pieced AND quilted. All will be reversible.
One thing I have discovered is that even three different sizes will not be enough---most likely they should each be made to order. For my own machines, I made them long enoughto cover my pin cushions sitting at the end of the machines to keep the kitties from playing with them!

These are NOT open on the ends--that seemed to be all I could find online, so have come up with my own pattern that hopefully will be offered for sale soon.

Do not have pics yet, but hope to add them here in a few days...

I wouldn't know where to start in suggesting a price. I would be interested in purchasing one when you do decide to make them for sale, though. Please keep me in mind, in case I miss the post.

I make them to order for machines. I like them to fit correctly and not look limp (which they do if they are too big). I have always quilted mine or used pre-quilted fabric for extra firmness. It will be interesting to see your pictures.

just be sure to read the rules here before you list them here..."FISHING" for prices, customers, is part of the NO-NO list on here!

CAn't wait to see them, but I won't be at the July or Aug meeting! and I need to tell Evon that I have her Makenna Ryan patterns in!

Email me the pix when you can! Or let me know when you come to town and bring them along..can meet you at your usual place!
