i have a house built in 1738.. read needs constant work.. around here, we thing the movie "the money pit" is a documentary so we always have at least 1 huge project and a few smaller ones in the summer...

i work 45-50 hrs a week, but i try to keep the gardens moderately weeded..so i will do that for an hour or so most nites when i get home, followed by a shower off in the outdoor shower..dh's favorite addition, and hop in the pool..

then dinner (sandwiches or leftovers most nites) if by then i'm not exhausted, i try to get a little sewing time in...

i try to make sure i get at least 1 afternoon a weekend..because otherwise i start out monday feeling like i didn't HAVE a weekend. that makes for a cranky week!

Although I quilt year round, I'd rather quilt in the summer, when my hands don't get as cold.... Diana O.
