Go to the internet and go to www.singersewingmachine.com } and type in the type and serial number of the machine and you can find the year it was made and can request a manual. I did this for a machine found at a swap meet and had no trouble getting the manual for it.

OH HOW LUCKY YOU ARE....if only I had a big barn to hold ll my crafting stuff. ggl. I'd go nuts sortin it all out no doubt....did I say I'd GO nuts. Hubby thinks I already left for that destination at times

There is a yahoo group for vintagesingers that can help you with anything you want to know about your machine. It looks to be in very good shape, lucky you. My thrift shops only seem to have junk, nothing that I would ever want.

I have a very old wooden ironing board that was my mother's, and maybe even my grandmother's. It is a "Beatty Board". But when I googled it, the only place I saw info. was on an Ontario website, and I live in Ontario, so it might have been a Canadian company. Don't know if that will help or not. C9P
