Thanks for asking. The pattern was sent in exchange for any 12 1/2 block. It does not have to be the Candlequilter Star block but any block you wish to send. I tried very hard to state that each and every time I sent the pattern because I know that the pattern can be time consuming for some. Plus I know how busy everyday life can get. So it has always been for any 12 1/2" block they wish to send. Plus many people like to get patterns to be used or tried later on - so sending any 12 1/2 block helped to eliminate the rush to try this one. Maybe I didn't make that clear enough but I really thought I had.

    Thanks for asking again,

Cool, I'll have a 12 1/2 block in the mail to you pretty soon then. I very well could have misread (I do that alot) or simply forgotten (I do that alot to lol). Thanks for stating this again for all of us! It was red, white, and blue or fall colors correct?

Join the club. Didn't you know that's called 'senior moments'? I do it more often than I'd like to admit. LOL Marge L.

Mine is shaping up nicely. I had something really going, but when I started to realize how it was going to fit together I knew it was not right. So printed new pieces and now work is going well. I am so sorry it has taken me so long. If things go as well as they did today I will gladly make at least two for you. Don't give up on the board members, they'll come through for you.

i did the same thing! I worked for a day and a 1/2 on mine and when I went to put it together, I realized that I didn't place the fabrics correctly! When I started the second one, it just flew by!! Had it done in just a couple hours!!

Still don't have the bumper pads and skirt done for the new grandson. Got to get on that as he might start scooting around in his bed soon.
I want to do your block though just to prove that I am capable of getting her done! I have sure seen some pretty ones coming on here though.

Linda, I'm so happy to hear that somebody else had this prob. I tried sev. times but it just would not print. Then I tried to draw it off the computer screen.
I loved Sherril's star & wanted to contribute a block to her, too.
Pat (above Hood Canal) We're actually neighbors.
